I'm installing a siren thingy on my car, but I'm having trouble getting the cigarette lighter out [for my positive]. I searched, of course, but got mixed answers:

Some were to just push really hard, others were to remove the cig lighter with the whole console.

Need help, please, thanks.

just removed the entire trim piece that holds the cigarette lighter. use something like a a screwdriver to pry it out. don't be afriad to give it some muscle, its not going to break. just be sure you don't screw up the plastic
