i want to sand the red paint/powdercoat off my intake and have just a metal look to it like this guy did with his nitrous bottle.

(tried PMing him, no response yet)
what would the best process to do this be? what grit sand paper would you suggest using?
thanks for the help.

i dont know if this will work but it worked when i was stripping my metal faceplates on my V600.
just buy some heavy duty easy off oven cleaner. then spray it on very thick. then let it sit for about 15 mins.
then get a paper towel or rough sponge and wipe. the paint should just come off with the cleaner.
its like3 bucks so its worth a try. no sanding required too!! to get the paint off i mean. if you want a nice clean shine then you might have to follow up with around 800 grit then 1500 then 2000 then if you want mirror finsih use rubbing compound.
