Rep Power: 312 Tips for welding
I'm going to be welding for my first time tommorow. Any tips on what to look for while welding would be appreciated.
I'll be welding mild steel and a malable cast iron. I'm looking more for strength, but the welds need to be good as they will be done on an axle.
Thanks.

Rep Power: 348 i weld alot now thanks to my new job... be sure you have proper equipment such as welding shield or mask and gloves. as far as welding just make sure its a good clean weld. try to keep the welding spots at an even height and be sure to weld both sides if possible for max strength...
