alarm receiver question...

Hey i just got my alarm in and i noticed this and asked them if this was the only place they could put it...i was like....

should i try and move it?

That's one of those range extenders for your alarm unit. They give the best range when they're mounted to the glass. Where did you intend on putting it?

My bro has it at the top of the windshield. I don't even have one at all. I just don't get that much range, but still enough.

Ew, that is in a bad spot.

I have mounted on the top of my windsheild, right behind my rear view mirror...Looks good there, cant see it.

how the hell do i move it? should the place i installed it to do it? or can i just tuck it somewhere inside and cut my losses on long range? or hiding it somewhere inside even affect the range?

edit: tacheon: i didn't even know it had one of those. they just put it up there. if i had known there was one i probably would've asked to put it somewhere higher like what 2k2 said

i think id be best to remove it from where it is, and put it somewhere out of an eyes reach.
