Exhaust Problem when it rains!!!!
I hope that some else knows about this. When ever it rains and the roads become really wet my exhaust starts smacking the bottom of my car like crazy and I have to rev the engine to make it stop. Today when I was driving on the turnpike, it was like a torrential (sp?) down poor and my exhaust was killing the bottom of my car, it sounded like it was going to brake apart. This only happens when it is really wet out though? Does anyone have any idea whats causing this and how I may be able to fix it?
thanks

it isnt your exhaust hitting the bottom of your car, it has to do with the rain. It is normal, everyone with exhaust have that problem, I do. It isnt a big deal.

ya if its an aftermarket exhaust its the exhaust hitting the heat shield underneath the car. just take the shield off.
