Honda Manual
Hey all, I have been looking at picking up one of those full out honda manuals for my car. Rather than pay for 150 bucks honda wants I wanted to get one of those ones on cd. Has anyone seen those ads on ebay to purchase a copy of them for 10 bucks or so? Has anyone bought one? Any idea of the quality? From what I understand some guy just scannes the manual to pdf form and sends it but I want to make sure the quality is good. Does anyone on the forum have on? I would like to get a copy if someone has one...I would rather give somehere a couple dollars for it that elsewhere? Anyone thought about a group buy and sharing the info? I am an avid fixer/upgrader of my cars and this manaul would be the perfect addition in helping with it. I promise I'll share my DYI with the group once I get a copy

I have a few manuals on CD. I hate them. There is NO substitute for the real paper manual. A lot of CD manuals are not complete, or just scans and not as readable.
Nooooo.... gimme the real thing. The $80 honda manual is worth the price. I have it. I use it.

That's what I got. $80 is not that much imo, compared to the price you're gonna pay a shop to look at your car. I'm getting mine tomorrow and paper is best.
theres a lot of things on the list.
service/shop manual,supplements, and etc
which one should i get?
gearbox would you let us know if it is worth that much money when you get it?
i kno it takes time to determine that.
but just by looking at it. you kno what i mean.

It's over an inch thick and has tons of pics in it. I barely skimmed it and there's everything from swapping the head to changing and aiming headlamps.

Well, it is mostly a very technical book, and I think some things are missing like removing panels and body stuff. But then again, it's a service manual. I'll get to use it more when I take off the TB to get it bored out. It has step by step instructions with pics of everything. Get it if you find yourself working on the car alot. It also has standard maintenance like tranny fluid flush and so on.
