Another SRS Light RESET ?
I found the instructions but they seem unclear on some parts
1- look underneath dash, near fusebox, for a 2-wire yellow plug, disconnect it and pull it down so you can work with it
2- turn ignition OFF
3- jumper the 2 wires together (cut paperclip in half and straighten, insert one end of each half into back end of plug where each wire goes in, touch them together and hold) to clear SRS function
4- turn ignition ON (SRS light will turn on for 6 seconds, then turn off)
5- after SRS light turns off, within 4 seconds, unjumper the 2 wires (SRS light will turn ON)
6- after SRS light turns on, within 4 seconds, jumper the 2 wires (SRS light will turn OFF)
7- after SRS light turns off, within 4 seconds, unjumper the 2 wires (SRS light will blink ON and OFF, indicating SRS function is reset)
Question 1...after you jumper the wires together, do you put the plug back into its proper place and then do the following steps?
Question 2. For steps 1 and 2 is your key in the stage 3 (stage right before you start your ignition?)
thanks in advance for the help
