too many miles

my friend leased his civic and now is over the allowed miles how can he disconect the odometer on his civic?

he drives a 02 ex automatic

would putting a new brain work?

any ideas besides he should have bought it and not leased it

the odometer stores its own miles in it, as well as the ECU recording the mileage on the car.

actually u can, behind the engine if u remove the intake there's a plug .... sorry that's all the info i can give =)
