Major Ecu Problem

Major Ecu Problem I tried installing a vafc.. my car revving wouldnt go past 4000 rpm.. so I unhooked the vafc.. and it still wont to past 4000 rpm... I dont know what to do.. ive ressetted my ecu.. like I read in these forums.. Ive tried almost everything now.. my car shuts off sometimes on the road... it smells like raw gas... I seriously need help and fast.. plz guys...
