I have an AEM V2 intake and my gas milage lately has been really low and its not the best time for it to be obviously so I thought its probaly about time to clean the air filter it couldnt hurt. I put the intake on last August I think it was, so how often should it be cleaned? I bought this from Dezod http://www.dezod.com/pd_kn.cfm cause they told me it was the right thing. so hope it works. Anything i need to know?

i clean it all the time, when its dirty, i clean it. thats the right stuff to use. just for future reference, any automotive store carries it, so you dont need to order it off line. btw, make sure when u rise the filter, rise from the inside out....just like the directions say.

when you put water on it, poor it in from the side where dirt isn't on. that way, dirt doesn't get embedded in the filter.

Easy to clean. I would do it every 10k, but some do it sooner. Mine was really dirty after the 2k mile road trip I took.

Use a fuel injector cleaner. A good one, not that stupid chevron techron stuff. I just got this and poured it in. Has some good claims and should help.
