valve cover bolts

hey i got my car back from the dealer last week and im poking around the engine bay and noticed that the front valve cover nut look weird so i took a sockrt wrench to tighten it. that damn thing broke off. i didnt apply the slightest bit of pressure. what should i do ? how do i fix it.im starting to hate my si

That sounds like a head bolt to me. What are they doing taking off the valve cover? Well the bolts are $10 each, and should have been replaced if they had the cover off. They stretch and can't be reused. Go tell them they screwed up on whetever they did.
