Help: Oil Change Question
I just changed my oil. I have never filled the filter up before I put it on, I always just pour a bit on the top to lubricate the rubber gasket and screw that f*cker on. My brother just scolded me for not doing so saying that the filter won't work if I don't fill it up with oil....Is he right? Do I really have to drain the bish again, fill the filter and full it up again? Or is that not neccesary like I have always thought.

No your bro is wrong.. you'll be fine. Adding oil to the filter before screwing it on is a good thing to do since it wont have that air to displace when you start your engine up, but its not necessary. The first couple of seconds your engine starts the oil pressure is forced into the filter so I wouldnt worry about it.
But you should lube the rubber seal with a thin coat of oil to help seal it and make it easier to remove. But it should be fine.
