installing header, hi-flow cat, and cat-back...

i am getting all of these items installed this week when the header and cat-back arrive asap. i am still debating on whether or not i want to install these myself or take it to a local shop and have them install it. what do you all think i should do?

also if you know of any DIY's for any of these please send them in this thread.

thanks,
Injen

A couple of jack stands...floor jack....torque wrench...and a regular wrench and it should only take you an hour or two to do the whole swap.

No i haven't seen a Diy on that stuff. But common, the 4-1 header and tcs 2is are made for our cars. So your not gonna have to do anything really hard, like bending and welding. If anything it will just be time-consuming. I ordered my Greddy Evo2 cat back and im gonna put it on myself. Just go for it Injen, it is sooo much more fulfilling when you do all the work on your own car.

Yeah, you have to imagine how much some machanic is gonna charge you for that. A guy quoted my friend at $400+ to install a cat back. Gimmie a freakin break -do it yourself and put that $400 in you SF-turbo stash under you bed.

How much gain do you get from modding the exhaust and headers like that?
Are there some good ECU's for our generation civic?
