Hey, I plan on tinting my windows tomorrow and i was wondering if anyone has already done it on our 7th gens and has any tips for me. I thought about taking the door panel off to make it easier near the bottom but i don't know if it will help or not. Please help. Thanks.

Rep Power: 0 of course weve done it.. lol. Make sure you know your states tinting laws, and if u decide to break em, be ready to put up with cops pullin u over. The darker the better it looks, in my opinion.,

Rep Power: 0 I dont think you need to take off your door panel. My tint shop folds down the lower rubber in the glass and that gave them a good enough clearance to tint all the way down. And be sure your tint shop tints over the 3rd brake light because it looks much cleaner.

Rep Power: 0 Did you plan on doing it yourself? or taking the door panels off so its easier for the shop to do? I would not recommend doing it yourself at all, no matter how careful you are it won't be as good as a shop. And if you're having a shop do it, then no you don't need to take the panels off.

i think he means percentage of light coming through so it would be 75% tint or 25% of the light being blocked. so 13.5 would mean 86.5% of the light is being blocked.
