If you buy a new ecu for an 01 honda does it need to be prgrammed for any reason i just got my new one and it does nothing at all just turns

yes it needs to be reflashed, as in you need the original key or ask honda to flash the ecu, I tried going to the honda dealer to see if they would do it, cuz i did a tranny swap, but they dont know wtf I am talking about, so if your honda dealer did it, ask them for reciepts and a service description so I can show them, and how much you paid, because this check engine light is getting on my nerves now, I know acrua does it for 50 bucks I think. They told me to go to the acrua dealder lol. I was like ok, whatever. Damn honda dealers **** me off. I even talked to their head technician
