problems with downpipe and cat.. installation

I cant install a downpipe with a h/f cat converter..
the problem arises at the bolts that bolt together the headers and the downpipe... the bolts have these little "springs" with them.. I cant loosen them p... Ive sprayed wd40 but no luck.. any suggestions greatly appreciated.. thanks guys

start the car and let it run for a while. doing this will heat up the bolts and make them easier to take off. Then give it a shot ... but don't burn yourself.

Dude your trying to take the bolts off from the bottom of the header right?

thats what it sounded like to me. Wierd because they aren't that hard to loosen up.

Yes, be careful not to snap the bolts off in the bottom of the manifold. Get some PB Blaster and soak the bolts.

ahh.. I just took it to a muffler shop.. they did... thanks anyways gus.. I appreciate the help

and yah it was the ones on the bottom.. there arent any at the top

there are nuts at the top some ppl might get confused and try to lossen...but they are welded in there
