Yeah, battery, radiator hose, airbox......etc. Seems like a lot of work just for the tranny. I'd probably still drop the subframe (as honda intended) - lot less crap to worry about when putting it back together.

I dont really necessarily call it crap, but necessary parts, and really its just nuts and bolts, I've taken off my subframe before and I know its really hard to do especially by yourself, there i like no way you can put it on, by yourself

pefect diy for the guy that does not have a lift.
I look forward to this one. Replacing the clutch and flywheel has always kinda scared me. hopefully after this the fear will be gone.

yeah ive taken my tranny out 6 times...i installed a ACT clutch and 10 lbs flywheel.....and i always had a problem with the engagement each time, then my tranny went bad..so i had to take it out and replace the bearings inside.......I know my tranny inside out.. lol...but this would be a great DIY .....keep up the good work
i changed my clutch without removing the tranny from the engine bay once cause i knew removing the subframe would be time consuming.what did you have to do to remove it from the top?

imp:

... im waiting for my new tranny in the mail... DIY will be done soon !
