HO2 Sensor Mod for hi-flow cats/ CEL on
A question for all you out there - I've got the BigJoshRacing O2 sim/MIL eliminator like many of you and for a great many of us it does NOT WORK. So, my qusetion is this after reviewing the Service Manual for our cars, on the HO2 Sensor the bottom two wires (white) are for the heater element inside the sensor body, to maintain a steady reading, the black and grey wires are the positive (Black) and the negative (grey) wires for the sensor. Now, for us with the Hi-flow cat with the sensor in the middle of the cat (mine is now at the end of the cat ) we get the CEL because of higher voltage signal going the EMS. Now, if I were to just put a small resistor say, 2-10ohm resistor on the positive (black) wire would that eliminate the higher voltage signal and return the fuel level to 100% (which the EMS cuts some fuel due to the higher voltage reading) WHAT DO YOU ALL THINK?
