Anyone know of the easiest way to change the MTF fluid?
I had to jack the car up, loosen drain and fill plug, drain the fluid, lower car to level, allow rest of fluid to drain, jack the car up, retighten the drain plug, lower the car to level, fill the fluid into the tranny with a long tube, hand tighten the fill plug, jack the car up again, tighten the fill plug even more with a wrench, then lower the car and i was done.
Also, it was a pain getting the MTF into the fill hole. I accessed it from the top of the engine, using a long tube. Then since I could only hand tighten it from there, I had to re-raise the car to retighten the fill plug. I tried taking the wheel off, but there was no easy way to fill it through there. Is there a better way to get to the fill hole?
