PnP Clarification

When refering to a PnP what is meant by a 5 angle valve job? This is a term that I am not familiar with and could use some help in getting a definition.

the 5 angles means on the head where the valve contacts there are 5 angles cut (instead of 2 from the factory). this creats better flow, and somewhat better sealing. the more angles the more the valve seat looks 'round'. there is actuly more extreme valve jobs taht can be done also i have heard of 8 angle and radiused. hope this helps.

Well, I 'm really good friends with a guy that is a master mechanic at a race shop. He was the head mechanic at honda for years and built race cars on the side until he decided to open a shop of his own to do after market full time...I was charged $900 for the P&P, 5 angle shaving the head and labor...Sounds too good to be true, huh?? If you want to give him a call, here's his #:Raceworks (770)886-1380 and his name is Joey Songer....He's a great friend...Just tell him that Chad Riley sent you and maybe he can work something out for you.

Oh, I choose not to go with the DH work simply because of having to wait and, well, I got a great deal...I just wouldn't want to chance it with DH since they haven't really proved anything to us at 7th gen

Yeah, I have everything going...I just need to get my VAFC II retuned...I noticed a huge difference also...I notice it pulling low mid all the way to high rpm range....I have dead spots in my powerband due to having my VAFC tuned with the KMS manifold and stock head though...Now that I have the stock IM and the port work, I don't doubt that I wouldn't see a good 20-25whp gain after tuning.
