question on tach wire
I know the tach wire sends out voltage when the engine rpms are increased. My question is I have a multi meter, and I would like to test the tach wire under the hood, and the one comming from the ecu to make sure I have the right wire. What do I set my multi meter to? I want to make sure I have the right settings so I dont fry the multi meter, and or something else.
I need to make sure I have the right wire because I am going to install a tach on my 2001 ex. I accidently wrecked the tach needle on my guage cluster while removing some old indiglow guages
Thanks guys!
