DOT/EPA Approving
what do they mean by that title... replacing glass, bumbers...? my brother and i called motorex and they wont get back to us on it.. what exaclty do they do to the car to make it approved... lets say i wanted an R33 Gt-S ok i got it shipped now what.. anyone know...?
DOT/EPA aproval
Shiping a car over to US or Canada they will have to get aprove first. DOT/EPA have rules about cars geting shiped from other countrys. They will have to past a safety test first. Most of the time dilerships that ships cars to other countrys already know that is needed for the car to be aproved and safe to drive.

department of transportation..
and environmental protection agency.
obviously.. to make sure if the car is safe to drive in the US, both for people and the environment.
usually they go by CARB (california air resource board) rules though, since they're the strictest.. and by 2007, I believe all 50 states will have to meet the current CARB standards.
