I have an ex and you know when u lock the car, the buttons and headlights flash. And when u unlock the car the lights also flash. For some werid reason that doesnt happen anymore. My car locks and when i press it again the horn doesnt sound either? Howd i turn that off and How do i turn on the stock ex alarm again?

Are you sure it's a factory alarm and not keyless entry? Does the horn start honking after you lock it and open the door from the inside?

Stock alarms plain suck, and you should really get a real one. It probably just broke.

Yea the horn doesnt sound, its keyless entry but its also an alarm. THe little red led is suppose to be blinking when i lock the doors. I think i just read that i got it stuck in valet mode or something. but no gave a solution to how to get it out of this crap mode. Im suppose to do it in some order to turn it back on?

okay i fixed it but im not really sure how i did it. I just put my key in and out really fast a couple times and then it worked. THen again it coulda been me pressing all the unlock and lock buttons continuously... who knows....
