Rep Power: 0 Torque Converter upgrade help plz!
ok so im going to order the levelten torque converter upgrade for our cars soon, but first i need to take my torque converter out. does anyone know just what is needed to do this? will i have to take the axle off? or can i somehow just move the transmission over enough so i can get to the torque converter?

Rep Power: 0 yeah, i know where its at, i know how to get it out, im seeing if theres an easier way. my way would be to take of fthe axle, take the transmission off, drop it out the bottom, take the torque converter out, send it to levelten, get it back, put it back on the transmission, stick the transmission back in, and remount the axle. im asking if theres a way to do it without take the axles off, cause that would be a bizn@h
edit:
also, since im cheap ill ask this, i heard that another way to get more power to the wheels is instead of getting an upgraded torque converter, is to just get a smaller one off a different car. is this true? i know the drivehsaft has to be the same on both cars, but would it be possible to go to a junkyard and take a torque converter off lets say an old crx, and stick it my car? or is it safer to just go with the levelten upgrade since you never know what kind of condition these old torque converters might be in?

Rep Power: 0 yeah, see the thing is that i dont really trust anyone from the company, or anyone sponsored by the company since they have reasons for saying "oh yeah our product is the best!" or "gain 15 hp!" much like exhaust systems for our car, so i wanna see some proof or hear from someone who has installed one that isnt in any way affiliated with the company.
