Good Temperature For Painting?

i want to black out my headlights tomorrow, but im not sure if it will be too cold for the paint to stick good. It is going to be about 35 degrees, but in my garage it should be about 40-42 or so. is that too cold? do you think it would come out bad with it being this cold?

keepin_it_clean knows. . 65-75 is perfect.

Don't do it in direct sunlight, and don't do it when it's rainy/damp outside.

Doing it when the condiions aren't right might produce unexpected results, mostly depending on the type of paint. I would wait, or if you can't wait take the headlights off and bring them inside for a few hours to let them warm up.

BTW keeping_it_clean, that pic in your avatar. . did you take that at a funeral home?
