Slanted Steering Wheel? Help!

Ok, after i installed my hayame's, there is a slant in my steering wheel...like this /

well, not that steel but at least a good 30 degrees. That's the straight position. If i turn the wheel perfectly horizontal, i can make a 30 deg. turn.

now i'm wondering what the problem is...is it alignment? from the looks of it my wheels and tires are perfectly square with the ground. Can i just pluck my steering wheel off, and reattach it in the horizontal position?

plz help!

So you are saying your wheel is not centered? (slant to me implies that it's tilted forward or backward)

As said above thats an alignment issue. Mine's off a bit now from all the track driving and road abuse it's gotten. But no biggie to me until it gets out of wack bad.

^ sorry...didn't want to confuse neone...since our steering wheel already tilts, and most of us have the option to tilt it however we want, i thought i wouldn't be a confusing term to use... i'll use "off centered" next time...if there is a next time ^_^ 'least i'll know what the problem is @_@

civicvtec1ps - your car pic in your sig messes with my head everytime. it looks like your back right wheel is lifted a few inches because of that water there! I am half tempted to edit it.

chocobo - aside from inconvenience of having your car pull to the side or the steering wheel being off centered, getting your car aligned after any suspension work is a must (wait a week so it settles).

Have you ever had your alignment off and hit a pothole or rut in the road and it yanks your car to the side like nobodies business? No fun.

Did you install a new tie-rod end or mess with the tie-rod settings? If the lenght was altered in anyway when you did your install you'll throw off sterring wheel centering.
