If im trying to get more power out of my car, but dont
want to spend a whole lot of money, and dont want to get
something like a turbo, what ways can i increase power?
Without spending a ton of money.

You can learn from my mistakes: Do not get an intake, header, or exhaust for power. All three combined will maybe give a few hp. I just ordered a DH-racing crank pulley for $175, and it's supposed to give 10 whp. Other than that, I would say build the motor. DH-racing ported head work for $800 is my next mod, which should give another 25+whp. Another useful mod is the VACFII for $310 to adjust air/fuel and VTEC points. Just save your money for the bigger mods. You could also start with smaller things like ground wires and K&N hi-flow replacement air filter. Happy modding. If you search the site, I'm sure you'll find everything you need.
Anyway, back to the topic, weight reduction is probably one of the best things. If you search the site you will see that bolt-ons dont really respond well with the d17. If you wanna make your car fast, the thing that you can do and is WORTH the money is basically boosting it. It is a lot of money, but I think putting an i/h/e on our car isnt really worth it.
