dyno charts for FI and NA cars
could someone post some numbers or dyno sheets for naturally aspirated or forced induction cars, and plz post the mods they have. i was practically certain that i wanted togo na but i did some research and not sure if ill get anywhere near the numbers i wanted, and itll be way more expensive then forced induction. so pretty much just want to know exactly what ppl have been able to do with what.

heh, not even sure anymore, went to the car show here in chicago and practically fell in love with the new mazda 3, lol. but really i was looking around 250, i might say screw it and just do a few simple things to my civic and get another car in a year or two. by simple i mean i/h/e, pulleys, high compression pistons and maybe some ecu tuning. speaking of which, if i got 11.5:1 compression pistons what else would i have to replace? new sleeves? valves? retainers?
...and some N/A cars are predisposed to nitrous, as its not necessarily a form of forced induction.
Most N/A 4cyl. cars are high compression, high revving creatures and you can only go so far on pump gas.

yeah which is why im prolly going to limit myself to like 12:1 compression pistons and not even bother raising the rev limit cause that would mean i would need a transmission cooler(i have an auto) and a radiator or else the engine would prolly end up exploding. not to mention new crankshaft and pretty much new valvetrain. oh and a ton of tuning to make sure nothing hits anything else. but yeah would i need new valves/springs or maybe resleeving if i raise the compression up to 12:1?
New valve springs would be for running a high revving engine. If you did plan indeed on running a high-powered N/A car, or even a turbo car on an automatic transmission, you'd need a transmission cooler anyways, they're not terribly expensive last I checked though, and the install was pretty straight forward.
Tuning an N/A 7th gen would probably be a lot easier too if companies like Hondata manufactured devices for our cars to allow more accurate tuning.
There was a guy on here a while back who had a really nice N/A engine that used ITBs (individual throttle bodies), that was damn impressive.
