I have these halo projector headlights.. that most of the people here have.. it uses the H1 bulb as you guys know... the problem is... my H1 bulb doesn't last long..
it only lasts 3 weeks.. and ****.. I'm so pissed I always have to change it with a new one (today is my fuking fourth times!).. is it that bulb that I use? or is it in my car? I use the EURO DEZIGNS 6000k H1 bulbs.. I'm going to send the 3 pairs of bulbs that I bought to send them back and give me new ones (lifetime warranty)...
this is for people who have a halo/projector headlights like mine.. are you guys having the same problem? is it just me?
Can anybody tell me what's going on because the bulbs should last more than 3 weeks atleast! I think EURO DEZIGNS SUCKS!!! anybody help me here please!?
I will appreciate any recommendation on bulbs... but I can't use the REAL HIDs for my projector.. as what it says on my projectors..

Almost all of those super white headlights suck. Just make sure you're getting 55/60W stock wattage bulbs. Projectors tend to get hotter and burn out the bulbs. Make sure the bulbs are clean by wiping with alcohol to remove finger prints and stuff. You may want to look for a bulb from known manufactorers like Philips and Sylvania. My sylvania cool blue bulbs lasted almost 2 years before burning out.

It should say the wattage on them. 55 for normal driving, and 60 for far. Most normal manufactorers don't make higher wattage bulbs. It's the cheaper stuff on ebay like MTEC that you need to watch for.

I am planning to get the "real" HIDs but they said those are too hot for my projectors that they will actually melt the housing? is that right?

Do you mean higher wattage bulbs? Those will melt the projectors and your wires because they run hotter than stock. Real HID lights cost $400+ dollars and are more than just bulbs.

HIDs will NOT melt the headlight/projector housing.

Definetly save up for true HID setup.
Aftermarket bulbs sucks.
Anything higher than 4300k will be less bright than OEM.
Reason being, it is a whiter light. As the temperature goes up, the bulb just becomes more and more blue, but also loses intensity.

I have the mtec 2x versions. They seem ok for me. I've had them for 3 months now and they haven't burned out at all.

i used to put those blue bulbs in but they would just burn out over a rediculously short time.. and somethin happened to one of the bulbs where it melted the wires, and the bulb started smokin in my headlight.. it fried my headlight wiring on one side and eventually f* up my headlights they just didnt work anymore and went to honda to get fixed... so much b/s for blue bulbs its not worth it to me anymore
