help with mounting vtec controller
i am having a problem with the doub/sided tape holding my vafc near the outlet. i got the five pound weather proof stuff, but all week its been kinda hot here mid day (vegas) and its barely spring. the damn thing falls off after 1 hour in the sun and the unit is in the shade. doing somthing wrong? any sugg. ?
yeah i cleaned both surfaces thourghly must have got to hot at work today in the car... but if it falls off tommaroo whoogggOOOooh the boys at 3M are gonna hear about this! that shyt i just bought is rated 5 lbs. and if i cement it gear box will it come off at all later ? thanks for the help guys

Yeah, if you pull hard enough, it will come off. It should be strong enough to hold it in place. Just glue it on, and tape it to the surface overnight until the glue dries completely.

OOO. . So your fuel management kicks in right away sweet!! lol .. just messing with ya. I knew a guy with a older Vic that made his vtec button activated, so he could turn it off or on at will. . He put it where his horn button was.. Crazy stuff, probably a chaper mod too.
