broken latch?

(the latch that you pull to release the trunk)
well it lets me push to open the gas lid...but it doesnt let me push to release the trunk...any suggestion? thanx

did you just get your car.. cause its seems to be falling apart..

anyhow the same thing happened to me when i first got mine..(well the other way around)
the cable that goes to the gas release was broke.. i could not get gas.. they had to tow my car back to the dealers. and they got it fixed.. it should be under warnt. so just take it back.. its fixed for free.

hmmm... I have the opposite problem. I can't get to the gas... so I broke it...

If you can't pull, I'm guessing a wire is the culprit... I'm not too sure.

Or try messing with the lock immediatly below the trunk/gas lever. You need the master keys, the valet key won't work.

yea i tried the lock thing, but thats not the problem, not under warrantee anymore

well the cable is most likely stuck on something or it broke.. you will have to take the whole side apart to find out where its messed up at.
