Quick Help Please

I just installed my Optima battery and was wondering if anybody knew what the resting voltage should be? I left my meter on it for about 20 minutes and the battery drained from 12.69 volts to 12.52 volts. How much further should it drain? What is the resting voltage. I know that a normal battery should have 6 cells at 2.11 volts for a resting voltage of 12.66. Are Optima's different. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It shouldn't be any different than another battery in that respect. Does it keep dropping though, or does it level off? You have to take temperature into consideration too. 12.6V would be normal for like 75 degree weather, and I'm assuming that it's cold where you are no? Hence the reason that batteries that sit in cold weather for a while die. You have to see how far/fast it's dropping to be able to tell if the battery is going bad or not.
