Need some help installing generic cai...

Hey everyone, ok i got this generic cai from my brother w/k&n filter for xmas, anyways, i need some help installing it. Ok heres a pic of it. http://www.sabersport.com/Merchant2/...ke/ninc01e.jpg Its some p.o.s. but whatever, its still something for my car Well anyways ok i looked at the diy on the website but a lot of the stuff confused me/is different with the aem intake. Ok so from this tutorial, what pages will i have to do
http://www.7thgencivic.com/modules.p...howpage&pid=16

I know i need to take the stock intake off, thats no prob, but then it shows them changing from the mounting brackets, i got 2 brackets with this kit but do i really need to use them, this things really short and doesnt seem like i need to attach it to anythning, plus how can i attach it to the cai when theres nothing coming off of it i can attach it to...? And the spot where the temp sensor goes(you see in that pic the black part with no tube) do i just screw it onto that rubber gourmet or what? Thanks.

If this is what it looks like its not a CAI, its just a regular air intake. If it were a CAI it would be LOTS longer!

It pushes in, its not a screw in fit.
