headlight install....no keyless entry???

Aight i just put a pair of tyc projectors in my friends ride. I have installed healdights b4 several times on my car. When i got done with the install my friends keyless entry did not work.....after looking at his key pad the lil red button was not flashing....i told him he needed a new battery. He replaced the battery and still no worky.....he didnt say if the red light was flashing or not. Could this have anything to do with a headlight install......i have never had this problem with my car and i change my headlights atleast once a month....for the alst 3 mths.

btw i have a pair of black projectors for sale in the for sale forum.....if anyone wants.....i dont wanna have to list them on ebay.

The car shoulda come with another remote - try that one. If the second remote works, then you know the first remote if fuqt somehow. If the second remote DOESN'T work, then you can be pretty sure it's something on the car. Check fuses.

yah he knows nothing about cars....to the extent that he didnt notice his battery being out. I didnt think that the headlights should have affected that area......but just going for a second opinion.

As for the second remote...his sis has it and he is a lazy sack, and wont go get it from her. I told him if i went to get it from his sis she would be getting a lil something something extra......but that motivation didnt help get him out of bed either!

actually you would be surprised, i blew a fuse installing my radio and the keyless entry and domelight stopped working. there is a fuse under the hood called "backup" that controls many different odds n ends. try that one.

If it's your friend's ride then why are you the one all worked up about this problem? seems like you care more about his car than he does.

Just go over to his house, give his sister a lil somethin somethin, go home, and let him deal with the problem himself. yea!
