Any info on trans coolers?

I am just wondering if anyone has installed a trans cooler on their auto and if you did, did it actually do anything for you or was it just a waste of cash.

Its not going to "do anything"... its a preventative thing. You put one in if you're working the transmission hard, towing something or constantly shifting while climing and decending hills, etc.... If the car is stock or nearly stock it won't really help, but it won't hurt it either.

Philip is an unknown quantity at this point
if you got a turbo on an automatic than have both of these items done at the same time to safe some hassles: Upgrading your torque converter and getting a oil cooler would help
