hey every1 I've found all the forums very usefull 4 installing and fixing a couple of things I was not really sure on but I've reached the end of my wits and want to see if it's just me on this... I recently bought the 2001 black housing 1 angel eye headlight thru the K2motors on ebay.. well after a piece broke in transit and having to take the entire front end off the car. I got those bad boys in! here is where it's gets fun, 1 day after installing the drve side led lights go out than 2nd day the passngr side low beam goes...so I attempted to pull the bulb out and connector broke! So this isn't the strange part yet...I noticed today the the connector it comes with has a *T* shape to it as does the oem connector, the blue wire is on *l* and black and red on the *--* part. Now I would have never have noticed but the on the pss side the blue wire runs to the headlight bulb and the black to the side of the bulb..BUT ON THE OTHER SIDE where the halo ring led's stopped working the BLACK wire goes straight to the bulb the blue to the side?????? so I just for the hell of it checked the high beam too and sure enough reverse of the other set up...so just for the made in taiwan of it I switched the to match the passenger side (where the halo led still worked) AND THE LED TURNED ON AGAIN!!! what!
but the way can I say they still look ill!!! and that they are so worth 125... so my questions are these: does anyone have these type of housings *GENERATION 3 - YANGSON DESIGN*PROJECTOR installed in their car?? clear or black- if so can you look at the left and right and compare the connectors wire colors ie which color connects to the bulb and which goes to the side? this I would imagine are only be the same as mine if thre yangson but it you have to tyc and you're curios too please let me now - I think they had 1 guy on the left side of the factory connecting it one way and another on the right connecting it the other way...they do come prewired and off the oem harness they are the same it's once it goes into the bulbs and housing they differ. thanks in advance
