OK so i follow the posts that tell me how to wire up the VAFC to out 7th gen, diodes and all... and then set the settings to what some other people have and the damn thing still doesn't work.
HELP!!! When the engine doesn't bog over 4K rpm, i can't feel the VTEC "kick" everyone describes...
and please don't close this thread... i've searched and found no answers...

Ok, I've calmed down now.
YOu obviously have the VAFC and NOT the VAFC II.
If you read apexi's webpage you will find that the Original VAFC does not work with our model Civic's. IT WILL NOT WORK.
Bottom line you need the VAFC II.
