th emgan racing high flow cat is fairly cheap and im pretty sure that the cat, isnt really one, it is just gutted out to look like one. i dont know about the hp racing one though, but i would say that the megan one is pretty straight through and would provide pretty good gains.

no, from what i know, MOST, i can't say all, but most high flow cats don't do enough to pass emissions. There might be some out there but usually most of them you need an O2 simulator. If you get the O2 sim and the emissions people do an ECM test rather than a tailpipe test then you will pass. It also depends on how strict your state is. HP Racing is based in FL so they don't need to care about emissions.

truthfully they're all the same. I think they're all the same diameter.. although I've seen one where the 'cat convertor' is smaller in size than others, not that it matters much.
as long as they have the 2 o2 bung you need, and as long as they fit perfectly.
I honestly wouldn't be surprise if they all came from the same manufacture in Taiwan that I've mentioned before..

"You need a 53000-series converter for your vehicle. If you need to replace the manifold converter(some Civics have this and some don't), which is the small converter right under the manifold, that is a dealer item. In regards to the O2 sensors, you should be able to reuse the OEM ones, as the car is too new for them to be bad. But if you do need them, we should have some to fit.
Thank you for your interest in Magnaflow and have a Happy New Year,"
We dont have a manifold converter btw
