Skunk2 D-series Intake Manifold.......
Ok don't get to happy its made for the D16A-Z SOHC, but the fact of the matter is that it is available now. Could it be that hard to match this up with our car with minor modifications to the piece. Is the D16a that much different than our D17A. I remember some old post about mixmatching the D16 parts but I was hoping someone with a little more knowledge pertaining to this could give me a legit answer. Thanks guys.

i don't know, i'm sure with some modification it could be matched up... but i'm betting it's only a matter of time till they make something for the D17, they made it for the 02+ Si also, so maybe they'll realize that there is a market for the D17 crew too.

Rep Power: 374 There is a member here that just did the K20 swap that had an after market intake manifold on his D17 that was make for the D16. I think it was LsVtec. I remember his selling his D17 in the For sale section and he had the side mount intake manifold of it. I'll see if i can find it for you.

Skunk2 manifold----funny Yeah I talked to the tech staff at Skunk2 an dthey said there was no urgent pursuit to make em for our car because there is little potential. 
That or you could go to-what was it- KMS and get that POS manifold thats 1.5lbs heavier and loses pull at 5700. This just sucks. The market out there better wise up and start in for us or they are getting a bag of hot poo on their doorstep---
