monitor in the rear view mirror?

Sorry all did a search but could find anything pertaining to this but i recall reading somewhere that someone did one once by scratching the back side of the mirror so it would show thru? Does anyone have any suggestions / ideas about mounting a small monitor behind the rear view mirror?

actuallly they got rear view mirrors that come with monitors in them!

im more interested in the HOW part to do it. I'm thinking of trying an idea and just kind of curious on how it could be done or if anyone has any suggestions on making it show thru a mirror. Dont want to be to specific and give my idea away yet

But the monitor showing thru the mirror is what im after

a member here has one. the graphic part that displays on his head unit also displays on his rear view mirror. It's in his member rides (sorry i forgot his name)

Any good audio/ice shop would have these. The one I go to has tons of cool toys. as for how, I think it uses the same technology that most car headunits have. The rearview mirror isnt huge or bulgy, just like how you can detach the slim face of a headunit
