Car Rattle?

I recently installed a HP Racing Header and Greddy EVO II Exhaust. My car is now rattling. I was expecting to hear a big difference, but I wasn't expecting to feel one as well. Does anyone out there have this combonation of header and exhaust? Are you experiencing a rattle as well? For anyone else with a header, catback combo, do you get a rattle in your car?
Please help!

Its the whole car! It really only happens when I'm stopped at a light or stop sign. I think they might have done something to the motor mount. Even though the DIY I've seen on here say its a direct fit if you have the automatic, the tuner shop said they had a hell of a time getting it to fit.

they might have...from the sound of it that tuner shop didn't know what they were doing because it is a direct fit. If they messed with it to much they might have damaged a motor mount in that case take it back and make their *** pay for it

Well to install the hp Header, don't they have to whack up the front motor mount a little bit to make it fit?? I remember a few members on here having to shave their motor mount pretty good to get things to fit properly.

I've seen the people that have the manuals have to shave or cut there motor mounts. Some people that had models other than the EX were also having problems with a direct fit. I have the Auto EX, I thought it should have been a direct fit. I called the shop and they said they had to remove the front motor mount, raise the engine, bolt in the header, lower the engine, and then reinstall the motor mount. Looking at the header, it is a really tight fit. There is zero room between the header an the front frame of the car. I could see where they ran into problems!

The engine might be shaking on idle, causing the header to slap into the motor mount and push the engine off axis, thus creating the shaking of the whole car.

Well, I took a good look at the whole damn thing. Here's the way I see it. The HP Header is a really tight fit. I could have several problems. 1) The motor mount as discussed before. 2) The header might be touching the front frame of the car. There's only a fraction of an inch between the header and the exhaust. 3) The Header could be touching the engine like Jdog said. I noticed a discoloration of the header. It's turning goldish on the top lower part of the header where it is closest to the engine.
The engine is definetly vibrating. When I turn on the car, the first thing you notice if you sit in it is the steering wheel shaking! When I go to pop the hood, you can see the hood rattleing and the front bumper shakes too! When you look inside the engine compartment, the engine is shaking! Does anyone have any more ideas on what is causeing the problem?

I think they F*D up your motor mounts man. I would take it back in and have them go over it again because this is not cool.

i have a greddy evo exhaust and i had to have a piece welded under my car to prevent the pipe from hitting the bottom of the car, put your car on a lift and get a good look under there.

Could it be the HP Header? I have the racing header which eliminates the cat. If the car doesn't have the cat could it be causing the engine to run different? Could this cause the shaking engine? I bought an O2 sime from Wannabefast but never got it hooked up. I didn't think I needed it since the check engine light never came on. Please help! I'm loosing my mind. I'm thinking I might just uninstall the header and go back to the factory header! Can I hook up the factory header to the Greddy Evo II Exhaust?

Alright, I have received a bunch of different opinions/theories. Here they are, tell me what you think is correct.
1) The timing is off. When I had the header installed, it threw the timing off.
2) Since the cat has been removed (replaced with a high flow cat) and no O2 sim was installed on the ECU, the car is running rough.
3) The Header (HP Racing Header on Civic EX Auto) is hitting the frame which is causing the car to shake. If anyone has a EX Auto with an HP header, I'd appreciate your input here.

I had orginally thought it was the motor mount. That was checked out by another shop. It's fine. They think its #3. I went for a second opinion and they thought it might be #1 or #2.

At this point I'm clueless. I'm ready to just pay to have the whole thing removed and go back to factor. Please help!

Just take it back to the shop that put it in for you and tell them it runs like crap and the car is shaking. Tell them to fix it.
