VAFC2/SAFC2 piggy back system?
i was told on friday that my vafc2 would be in at my race shop on monday. well todays monday and im going after school to have it wired up. but i was also told that the vafc2 doesnt do the same things that the safc2 would do so i would have to have that as well. i was also told that theyd piggy back with each other and run into the ecu together. and also that i would only see minimal gains for a short time with the vafc2. i thought an safc was the exact same thing as a vafc just that it has vtec settings with it.

Someone is yankin your crank. A VAFC is an SAFC + VTEC control. If a shop is telling you that, they either want to make more money, or just don't know anything. Either way, I don't think thats the place I'd want installing it for me, let alone trying to tune it.

Rep Power: 414 Read the descriptions about the SAFC II and the VAFC II.........you will see that they are the same products but the VAFC II has vtec contol.
