immobilizer bypas module???

hey i need help with my viper 790vx. ccity wont install my remote start so i decided to install it myself. igot everything put in and then tried to start it. well it started cranking over but no ignition??? i asked my friend at safe and sound and he said it was the immobilizer. then i read the diy on wiring diagrams and saw a motor lock/unlock wire and was wondering if i can just wire the blue immobilizer wire to the unlock wire or something? can someone help me with this problem or do i really have to pay 60bucks for the module???

Questions:
1. What kind of alarm do you guys have, since your cars are standard, I am interested in some info. I did search.
2. Why do you lose key when getting a module?

what the bypass module does is ....it tricks the car
into thinking that the car is being turned on with that key

No you wont have to. Buy the PKH3 Honda Civic/Acura EL Transponder, by a company called Trilogic, and it will work without you losing a key. DEI also makes one, i think its the 555I transponder. I have the PKH3 in my car, my car starts flawlessly everytime i press the button. Ive had my remote start system for about a year now also.

So where does the key go? Is it constantly plugged into somewhere?
Also, where can I get a module, or is that the thing inside the key?

No you can't make a copy of the key, the key has some sort of chip inside the key that is required to start the car, with the key itself.
