When i took out my bezel to paint it, i accidentally bumped the speedometer needle and now it gets stuck when i drive. so when i'm going 70mph, the needle is on 40 or when my car is turned off, it's still on 40. my question is whould it be in my best interest to take it in and get it fixed or should i just get a new speedometer from autometer or something like that?

i went to a junkyard yesterday and the guy was asking $100 for the gauge cluster. i think that's too much, so for now, i'll be driving without knowing how fast i'm going. oh well.
first year they have to warranty anything even if u do it urself 2 and 3 year must be a manufacturer defect to be warrantied....if not goto a junkyard or partstrader.com buy a whole cluster
