Question DC Sports 4-1 1 piece stainless header... and gasket...?

I searched but didn't find exactly what I needed, so I'm sorry if it's been posted before. I'm thinking of getting the DC Sports 4-1 1 piece stainless header, and just need to know what gasket(s) I need to buy from Honda to replace, to make sure I have a secure fit everywhere? Thanks

The exhaust header one. One connect b/c the header and the engine. You already have one in your car, if it isn't that old u can reuse it.

Ok thanks, I'll probably just get a new one to be on the safe side anyway.

What are the advantages/disadvantages of 4-1 vs 4-2-1?

a 4-2-1 means there is "less traffic" for the exhaust to run through...i guess it means the exhaust flows better with a 4-2-1 header.

I forget which is better for low end and which is better for high end

4-1 = high end
4-2-1 = low end

whats the most power gain from this dc header for our cars? I read in import tuner that a dc header (Edit-- 4-1 header)* on a rsx s only gained 2 hp... I thought the gain was between 10-20 horse for a 7th gen....ne1 know figures for gains a 7th gen has with a dc header ?

I have the DC headers and I must say, if there is any gain at all it is a very small one. I have a complete exhaust and maybe added 5-7 and thats with the high flo cat. Dont expect a difference with just DC headers. From what I have read on this site the HP headers offer more bang for the buck

No it is not the best and waste of money if you ask me. Try out HP header with highflow cat however it will be not emission legal. You need to swap back your OEM cat when you go in for emission test.

Thats one of the nice things with the DC Sports header though, With a hi-flo cat you can still pass emissions, well atleast in PA. Just got the car inspected and passed with flying colors

Pfff... emissions testing That's something I don't have to worry about up here in Canada

So the HP header has been proven to be the best?

Also what high-flow cat would be better? Random Technology or Magnaflow?
