removing nuts on rear strut towers?
Im installing my rear strut tower bar, and the nuts are giving me a try for my patience....I had to go out and buy a 14mm socket wrench bit, and then find out that I can't use a socket wrench. So I grab my 14mm wrench, and bruise my palmes (literally) trying to get those damn things loose...they don't even budge. How do you get them off???!!!!!!!!!!!!!

14mm deep socket and a small ratchet...don't remember if it was 1/4" drive or 1/2 drive. use a small piece of pipe or the closed end of another wrench over the first wrench for more leverage.

nah, 3-4 bucks. I bought one only to find out that my roomate had one I could borrow. This of course was after I had used a box-end 14mm wrench to loosed the nutz. Luckily no bruised palms though.

k...got them off, got the bar on, drilled out the holes on the bar cause it didnt fit, and im good now. Haven't driven it yet, but I take corners pretty hard, so I'll say a pretty good way to spend $15.

I recommend a front strut tower bar if you are cornering that hard, cause then you'll notice the difference. I do the same thing, got the tower bars for both ends, now the car wants to throw me from the seat instead of the car twisting on corners. Just gotta be buckled in good and learn how to lean...
i hate to say it but alot of the ebay strut bars arent up to snuff, alot can be flimsy and non adjustable, although i dont say this from my own outcomes but ive seen a few cheapies on there, for like 60 - 70 bucks you can pick an adjustable one up at a local speed shop, althought i could be wrong it might work just fine best of luck
