engine noise when i shut off

i know when you get an aftermarket intake your car makes a small pssh noise when you turn it off.. correct me if im wrong though. well i have not bough an aftermarket intake or played withthe engine yet. I was wondering should my car be making that pssh noise if the engine is stock? i like the sound and all but it worries me to hear it when i havent done anything to the engine yet.

it shouldn't be very loud if there is one. I never heard anything before I got an aftermarket intake. But I also have a system and don't hear my aftermarket anyway....

i heard the pssh noise before I got my intake, so i dont think its a problem. What I dont like is the whole engine shaking thing. I know its normal in all manuals, but its winding down all nice and then the car shakes...oh well, i'll stop whining.

if its whining then it is the belt. its funny though. everytime i turn off my car my psshhh noise for some reason is somewhat loud so people ask me if its my turbo or bov doing that...well...i dont have a turbo..much less a bov

i like to think of that pssh noise as the cars last gasp for air or a last breath in a sense, its super loud on my car as well with my after market intake but its not a bad noise it probably isnt something to worry about
