I just got my 03 civic and i love the car, as well i love these message boards because the amount of jerks is quite minimal and that makes it so nice and easy to actually accomplish things, but back to the point.

If i go out driving, and i think i drive my car pretty hard, ill bring it back home and go to tinker with something in the engine and the exhaust manifold is glowing. not like a little but prettty much lighting the entire front of the engine compartment, is this a normal occurance that i never noticed on my other cars, or am i in need of a bigger header. Ive been working on cars for a few years now and ive never seen it glow like this before. thanks

if you have a stock lx/dx header, it's normal
