D17 interchangeability Yea I know that there are not a whole lot internal upgreades made for the 2k1 civic, but the bore of a D17 and D16 are the same at 75 mm, the D17 just has a longer stroke of 94 mm which is 4 more than the D16, and well I know that on the outside minus the individual ignition coils of the D17 the engines look identical, so i would assume that differnce in the stroke is the crank, but really don't have a clue and I wanted to know if anyone else has tried to interchange parts such as rods or pistons or anything and if anyone could help me out that would be greatly appreciated, I cant afford for custom built internals, well anyway thanks.
