I'm guessing you are trying to get your D17 to look like the top of a D16. In that case you would need to lengthen all of the ignition wires and move the whole assembly.Even after doing all that it still wouldn't look as clean as you probably want it since the coils stick up so high.

I guess that would be possible but I don't know what and if any problems that might cause with your ECU.

why the hell would you do that????

you can buy up-graded coil-packs. distrubitor is a DOWN-GRADE!! that's why they got rid of it!! your coil packs work better than a distrubtor with MSD.....plus the fact that it is less mantainance....

no i don't think you can do it anyway, there is no place to mount the distrubitor shaft...

It can be done and has been done. It is a downgrade, but if he is willing to sacrifice it for looks then go ahead. I really don't think it will ever be as clean as you want it to be unless you can find a way to do wireless ignition! That would be badassed!!

there is a space on the head for a distributer shaft to go into the head it looks like any othe d series head has looked since the d15a1 in 88...but yeh do u ride with ur hood open? if u do why and if u dont who cares what the valve cover looks like i dont like it either but maybe u could paint the wire cover and ur vlalve cover the same and id look better? i think it would be a step in ur direction ? maybe maybe not good luck but just dont mess with the ignition if u dont know what ur getting into

Wireless ignition? Yeah, my car has bluetooth ignition coils

Would be sweet, though.
